Google and Yahoo should establish their own countries.

Google and Yahoo are visited everyday by gigantic amount of users and in the times of always rising inflation, taxes and decreasing level of freedom it could be a good alternative to classic countries like U.S.A.

Imagine you can login to Google/Yahoo application like GMail or Yahoo pipes and :

- check the amount of your Google Dollars or Yahoo Dollars which are inflation proof
- pay your head tax, which would be the only tax
- pay other Google and Yahoo citizens for goods they're selling you (without any additional tax)
- lend other Google and Yahoo citizens money

ask your employees to pay you in google dollars

and be FREE, or if there is something you don't like in your virtual country - you could always change it to another one.

BE FREE OR DIE TRYING !!!!

Aren't you tired of using many different web-forums ? You're probably using different forum to talk about your car, music that you're listening to, movies, programming language, operating system, tv shows etc.

Even if you've found a forum that you're keen on, with a fine community. What if you've changed your car, favourite programming language, operating system etc ?

globfor.com could be the panacea for that. It is using tags in the very same way as del.icio.us is using tags for categorizing the links - at globfor.com you're using tags to categorize the topic you want to talk about !

examples :

ubuntu forum

ubuntu sysadmins forum

ubuntu games forum

ubuntu arcade games forum

all of them can be quickly accessed just by changing the tags set.

Take a look :) it seems that the globfor.com has just started, so not many entries and users there.

On 26th of July Polish Supreme Court stated that every web page should be treated as a newspaper.

What you should include in the registration form ?
- newspaper title and the actual address
- personal information of executive editor and his actual address
- name of the publisher, with the actual address.
- about 12 USD fee.

Owner of not registered web page puts himself on risk of paying the fine, or even going to jail.

It's not a joke. It's a sad truth.

Domain name stolen ? or just a coincidence ?

Today, I've tried to check if esture.com domain is available for registration, and IT WAS . Unfortunately I do not have any kind of screenshot. I was using www.godaddy.com.

After an hour I've decided to use my local registrar to register it, and what I've found ? Domain is taken. Registered today !!!!

Truly awesome movie. Some say that it's so far the most radical film of the Taiwanese director, but I'm certain that this attribute, very often intolerable by sensible viewers, is absolved because of the whole movie's attitude to a matter that is being talked over.

Tsai Ming-liang is a known author of masterpieces that doubt in human relations. This is one is similar in that case too. Nevertheless that it contains extremely intelligent and funny scenes, it forces viewer to reflect about condition of experiencing relationships nowadays.

David Cronenberg's Naked Lunch.

I strongly suggest that you watch this movie. It tells about unsuccessful attempts of escaping from haunting thoughts - these attempts are shown as a symbolic scene with a "William Tell routine".

Somehow in similar situations there's a desire to repeat the next day like nothing have happened. But there's no escape. Again and again the true, or maybe exaggerated (I wish), opinion of what happened in the past, tracks you down and prevents from living with amnesia.

Cronenberg creates an ending that, in my humble opinion, is about it - Bill, the main character, tries to escape into Anexia with his wife and is forced to repeat the William Tell routine in order to satisfy the border guards. He has good intentions but finishes with failure...

and it is all I want to tell you about it ... It's truly a very good movie...

This page can be found very interesting for those who have also seen Tarkovsky's Solaris - it studies the similarities between Naked Lunch and Solaris.
